For more than a decade and with increasing urgency, critics have called out the disproportionate influence the pharmaceutical industry has had on the practice of medicine, as well as biomedical research. Meanwhile, the power of natural medicine has increasingly entered the spotlight, and a new study brings more attention to the latter.

report released by the Kew Gardens in the United Kingdom has revealed that there are nearly 30,000 plant species recorded as being of medicinal use throughout the world. The report also noted that fewer than 16% of the species used in plant-based medicines are cited in medicinal regulatory publication.

This is surely a blow to the many pharmaceutical companies who stay not just afloat, but on top, by calling natural, plant-based herbal remedies useless in the world of medicine.

Plant medicines are widely and successfully used across the globe, however. In Germany, for instance, 90% of the population opts for herbal medicines over drug-based medicine. And, interestingly enough, the United States spent 17 billion dollars on herbal remedies in 2000 alone, despite its heavy reliance on pharmaceuticals, greater than any other country in the world.

Certainly of importance, as the new study notes, is that mixing pharmaceuticals with plant-based medicines can be dangerous, since many of the plants are made of compounds that become dangerous if taken incorrectly. Furthermore, there are many alternative names for each species.

To develop drugs, the majority rely on lead compounds that are directly extracted from medicinal plants anyway.

The report says:

Since 1981, 1,130 new therapeutic agents have been approved for use as pharmaceutical drugs, of which 593 are based on compounds from natural sources. Thirty-eight are derived from medicinal plants [40, 41] . Fifteen of the 56 natural drugs registered for the treatment of cancer since 1980 are derived from medicinal plants with a long history of traditional use. For example drugs based on Paclitaxel have been isolated from the yew tree (Taxus spp.), Camptothecin from the happy tree, (Camptotheca acuminata) and Podophyllotoxin from the May apple (Podophyllum hexandrum and P. peltatum)

So, is pharmaceutical medicine plant-based? Not exactly, considering their patent-based model heightens the toxic side effects to the patient. Never mind the fact that, when Big Pharma needs it, they can simply outsource the science needed to prove their drug will follow through with its word to heal, while buying off anyone who could reveal its dirty ingredients — full of carcinogens, viruses, and dead human cells.

The report also reveals that putting efforts on world trade of just a few species of medicinal plants risks their sustainability. This then forces companies to substitute other plants for those they’ve devastated, a practice that can further harm human health.

The report also pointed out that, of the five drugs created for Alzheimer’s disease, two are derived from plants:

Galantamine, from Galanthus (snowdrops), Leucojum (snowflakes) and Narcissus (daffodils), was the first natural product drug to treat dementia symptoms. The second was Rivastigmine, which is chemically derived from physostigmine, an alkaloid from Physostigma venenosum (calabar bean).

The report also writes of another study that found 656 flowering plant species are used traditionally for diabetes. So while Big Pharma continues to try and bury the reality, the science is out there that medicine always begins with nature.

(TMU) — In the city of Hamilton in Ontario, Canada, police have been ticketing homeless people for not observing social distancing rules during the pandemic.

The tickets reportedly come along with a fine of up to $750, which homeless people are obviously unable to pay.

Local human rights advocates are speaking out about the injustice and demanding the police stop issuing the fines. Lisa Nussey of Keeping Six, a local homeless advocacy group, said that fining people isn’t going to solve anything.

“I think the message to police should be that this question of public health, not law and order, and people need to be given every opportunity and every avenue to promote public health,” Nussey said.

Police Chief Eric Girt said that police were giving people warnings and gradually enforcing the social distancing orders over time. But he also said that writing tickets was up to the officer’s discretion.

“We want compliance first. We certainly explained it to a number of people. Some people remain oppositional, so then we’re put in a spot where we may have to do enforcement and that’s obviously our last alternative,” Girt told the Hamilton Spectator.

Police in France have also been accused of fining homeless people for being outside during the pandemic and have received similar criticisms from local human rights advocates.

Large homeless populations throughout the world are experiencing this unique challenge during the coronavirus pandemic.

In some regions, homeless populations have been given access to temporary housing in shelters or hotels, but more often than not they are treated more like criminals than humans in need.

In Los Angeles, California, homeless single mothers calling themselves “the reclaimers” have begun to occupy vacant homes to get themselves and their families off the streets during this dangerous time.

Local officials have recognized the actions of the reclaimers and have said that they will be able to stay in the homes temporarily during the pandemic.

Donald Trump Says The Coronavirus Was “Artificially Induced”

Donald Trump Says The Coronavirus Was “Artificially Induced”

In a recent press conference, Donald Trump stated that the coronavirus was an “artificially induced” virus. You can view a clip of him saying it, here. Obviously, his comments are open to interpretation, and we’ve seen nothing but the ridicule of Donald Trump from mainstream media news sources since he took office. As a result, it’s hard for many people who tune in to these networks and use them as regular sources of information to take anything that he says seriously, at all. But Trump is not alone in his thoughts, that being said, again, it’s hard to really know exactly what he meant. This does not mean that we “supportTrump. In fact, the entire idea that someone who we supposedly elect can make any significant change on this planet is odd. We seem to put our power and faith into one person instead of realizing that we, humanity, ourselves, together, as one are the real solution. Electing and looking to one person for change seems to take the power away from ourselves, and place it into another.

Earlier on in the pandemic, Trump referred to the virus as a “hoax.” I thought when he stated that  he meant it was created and released, intelligently, for multiple purposes. The media took his statements as him implying that the virus itself is not real, and that there is no issue. He then explained that he meant that certain people are simply trying to politicize the issue, and use the crises to their advantage. Specifically, the Democrats.

When it comes to the new coronavirus, we are seeing a massive censorship of opinion. Dr. Ron Paul, for example, had his opinion article on the coronavirus flagged as “fake news.” When I saw this, I was curious as to how someone’s opinion can be ‘fake’ at all? In his article, he was encouraging people to ask themselves  whether this coronavirus “pandemic” could be a big hoax, with  regards to the actual danger of the disease massively exaggerated by those who seek to profit – financially or politically – from the ensuing panic. He emphasized his statements were not to say the disease is harmless. “Without question people will die from coronavirus. Those in vulnerable categories should take precautions to limit their risk of exposure. But we have seen this movie before. Government over-hypes a threat as an excuse to grab more of our freedoms. When the “threat” is over, however, they never give us our freedoms back.”(source)

Another opinion that’s been making its way around the internet has also been flagged as ‘fake news,’ and it comes from Dr. Francis Boyle, a law professor at the University of Illinois College of Law,  who drafted the Biological Weapons Anti-Terrorism Act and serves as counsel to Bosnia and Herzegovina and to the Provisional Government of the Palestinian Authority.

He shared his belief that the coronavirus is an offensive biological warfare weapon that leaked, be it deliberately or not.

Mainstream media quickly picked up on this narrative and also deemed it a conspiracy theory.

But there are some oddities to take note of, for sure. And one seems to be that many in the scientific/medical community are pointing out their confusion with regards to the measures that are being put into place as a result of the new coronavirus.

A paper recently published in The International Journal of Antimicrobial Agents titled “SARS-CoV-2: fear versus data claims “that the problem of SARS-CoV-2 is probably being overestimated.” (source) John P. A. Ioannidis, a professor of medicine and epidemiology at Stanford, recently published an article entitled “A fiasco in the making? As the coronavirus pandemic takes hold, we are making decisions without reliable data” that emphasizes the same, and Dr. Eran Bendavid and Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, two professors of medicine at Stanford University recently published an opinion piece in the Wall Street Journal titled, “Is the coronavirus as deadly as they say?” Dr. Sucharit Bhakdi, a specialist in microbiology and one of the most cited research scientists in German history who refers to the measures being taken governments around the world as “Draconian.” You can read more about that and watch what he has to say about the new coronavirus, here.

Furthermore, the opinion that coronavirus deaths are actually being miscalculated which is inaccurately driving up, and perhaps skyrocketing death rate is also being shared around the internet quite a bit.

For example, take a look at the tweet below from Brit Hume, an American journalist and political commentator currently working for the Fox News Channel.

Another recent tweet from Candace Owens.

Prior to this tweet, she posted stated, “Apparently, doctors and nurses around the world are wondering why no one is dying from heart attacks and strokes anymore. Flu and pneumonia deaths also went off a cliff. Turns out everyone is only dying of #Coronavirus now. Gee. I wonder why” and linked an article from the New York times discussing the fact that deaths from other diseases have suddenly dropped.

But is there any legit evidence of what these people are implying? Professor Walter Ricciardi, an advisor to the Italian Health Ministry, stated that “The way in which we code deaths in our country is very generous in the sense that all the people who die … with the coronavirus are deemed to be dying of the coronavirus,” he has said. “On re-evaluation by the National Institute of Health, only 12% of death certificates have shown a direct causality from coronavirus, while 88% of patients who have died have at least one pre-morbidity—many had two or three” Pre-morbidity refers to having serious health issues prior to the onset of a disease. (source)

According to another study out of Italy, 99% of Italy’s coronavirus fatalities that were examined specifically for this study were people who suffered from previous medical conditions. More than 75% had high blood pressure, about 35% had diabetes and a third suffered from heart disease. The study provides inside as to why their death rate may be much higher compared to other countries.

An article recently published by the Financial Times points out,

“In the UK, about 150,000 people die every year between January and March. To date, the vast majority of those who have died from COVID-19 in Britain have been aged 70 or older or had serious pre-existing health conditions. What is not clear is how many of those deaths would have occurred anyway if the patients had not contracted COVID-19. Speaking at a parliamentary hearing last week, Professor Neil Ferguson, director of the MRC Centre for Global Infectious Disease Analysis at Imperial College London, said it was not yet clear how many “excess deaths” caused by coronavirus there would be in the UK. However, he said the proportion of COVID-19 victims who would have died anyway could be “as many as half or two-thirds”.

I go deeper into that specific discussion in this article if you’re interested in dividing deep into that narrative: Coronavirus Deaths May Be Miscalculated.

So, as you can see, there may be something here and it should be OK for people and media outlets to have these discussions and share information and opinions without getting censored and flagged as fake news and punished. The idea that ‘fact checkers’ are censoring the opinions and narratives of some in order to protect a dominant narrative in itself raises red flags.

There are many questions and theories going around about what’s going on here, and granted, some of them are indeed conspiracies, but others may not be and are simply being labelled as such.

Treatment is a great example, all we seem to be hearing about is a vaccine when other promising developments seem to be having some success, according to some.

As far as its origin and whether or not it is indeed “artificially induced” for ulterior motives as Trump says, I personally would not be surprised, at all. In fact, this was one of my first thoughts when news broke out about it. It’s sad that it’s gotten to the point where so many people can no longer rely on their governments nor their federal health regulatory agencies for accurate information, but at the same time, it’s quite glorious, because people are waking up.

(TMU) — Twitter co-founder and CEO Jack Dorsey announced that he will be pledging $1 billion to help fund coronavirus economic relief efforts. This donation is not only large in scale, but is also a relatively large portion of Dorsey’s overall wealth—roughly 28% of his total 3.9 billion net worth.

The money will come from his personal stake in Square Inc., the payment processing company that he also co-founded.

Dorsey tweeted a link to a document where information about the donations will be posted, including the amount of the donation and the recipient.

“The impact this money will have should benefit both companies over the long-term because it’s helping the people we want to serve,” Dorsey said in a follow-up tweet.

Other billionaires have offered donations to different causes related to the pandemic, but this is by far the largest.

Jeff Bezos, Amazon founder and richest person in the world, offered a donation of $100 million to Feeding America, which also happened to be the first charity to receive a donation from Dorsey. Michael and Susan Dell also pledged to donate $100 million to relief efforts.

Dorsey has been known to make radically generous moves that are almost unheard of for people in his position. In 2015, Twitter was forced to lay off about 8% of its employees. Dorsey donated $200 million in Twitter stock back to the employee grant pool as a consolation. At the time this was about a third of the stake that he had in Twitter.

At the time he tweeted, “I’d rather have a smaller part of something big than a bigger part of something small. I’m confident we can make Twitter big!”

Last week, a record 6.6 million people filed for unemployment benefits in the United States. Economists expect many more applications to be filed in the coming weeks and months.

The Vatican’s Cardinal George Pell Is Freed From Jail & His Child Sex Abuse Convictions Are Overturned

The Vatican’s Cardinal George Pell Is Freed From Jail & His Child Sex Abuse Convictions Are Overturned

Cardinal George Pell, who  a couple of years ago became  the highest ranking Vatican official to ever be convicted of child sexual abuse, has now been freed from jail after Australia’s highest court overturned his conviction. The 78 year old senior Catholic figure was facing a six-year jail sentence after a jury found he was guilty of sexually abusing two boys in Melbourne in the 1990s.  Seven judges ruled unanimously in Pell’s favour, stating that the jury who found him guilty had “not properly considered all the evidence presented at the trial.” Throughout the entire time, Pell maintained his innocence from the moment he was charged in June of 2017, and despite what’s happened since, regardless of whether he’s actually innocent or not, his case has brought even more attention to the on-going problem of pedophilia and sexual abuse in high level places, like the Vatican.

Although the conviction against Pell has been dropped, people will forever ponder if this man is actually guilty of what he was accused of, and perhaps much more. Unfortunately, sexual abuse within the Vatican, and other places of power has been an issue for quite some time. It begs the question, how is this type of activity able to persist and sustain itself? The answer may be simple, it could be that those involved are simply some of the most powerful people in the world. A retired police detective of 25 years, John Wedger, spent a lot of his time investigating child abuse and how it operates continually without being taken down. People are threatened, and in some cases those whom one goes to in order to solve the problem, a ‘higher up,’ is actually involved in it, and the investigation gets shut down You can watch the full testimony of Wedger, here.

It’s disturbing to contemplate the idea that Cardinal George Pell is or would be involved in such things, after all, he himself established The Diocesan Commission Into Sexual Abuse in 1996. If he is in fact guilty, this leads to the point above made by Wedger, that the people responsible for tackling this issue are actually involved and part of the problem. That being said, Pell is innocent under the law.

It’s no secret that sexual abuse scandals have plagued the Catholic Church for decades, and it seems almost every single year. For example, prior to the accusations against Pell, in 2015 a lawyer by the name of Ulrich Weber uncovered that for the thirty year reign of boys choir run by Benedicts XVI’s elder brother, approximately 600 boys with a “high degree of plausibility” were victims of sexual and physical abuse, or both. The report identified 500 cases of physical abuse, and 67 cases of sexual abused committed by a total of 49 people in a position of power within the church. (source)

Furthermore, it was only a few months ago when Carlo Maria Vigano, former Apostolic Nuncio to the United States and Secretary-General of the Governor of Vatican City, implicated multiple church officials, including Pope Francis, in sexual abuse. You can read more about that here.

With everything that’s emerged with regards to Jeffrey Epstein and child sex trafficking over the past couple of years alone, it really makes one wonder, Especially the fact that it seems Epstein was involved in a blackmail operation and working for some powerful people.

A couple of years ago, Pope Francis compared child abuse within the Catholic Church to a “satanic mass.”

The Reverend Gabriele Amorth is another example; he was an Italian Roman Catholic Priest, and an exorcist of the Diocese of Rome, which is an administrative branch of the Catholic Church of Rome. He claimed to have performed tens of thousands of exorcisms over his half a dozen plus decades as a Catholic Priest, and has mentioned a number of times how Satanism is practiced within the Vatican.  He has also claimed that girls are commonly kidnapped by a gang of Vatican police and foreign diplomats. He claimed that these girls are recruited for Vatican parties, and crimes with a sexual motive.

Malachi Martin, an Irish Catholic priest and writer on the Catholic Church who published many books exposing the Vatican was  originally ordained as a Jesuit priest, he eventually became Professor of Palaeography at the Vatican’s Pontifical Biblical Institute and was one of many who exposed the practice of Satanism within the Vatican.

These are just a few examples of why so many people believe something fishy is going on, regardless of whether or not Pell is innocent or guilty. Is something beyond the abuse of children happening here? Some sort of ‘ritual’ abuse? How has this been ongoing for so long? How are these people and places still able to operate with such power? It seems that they are quite untouchable.

If you’re curious and want to go a little deeper into this kind of thing, beyond the Vatican and into high ranking politicians, possible Royal Family pedophilia and more, you can refer to this article as it goes into much more detail and provides more information.
