“A moment of enlightenment is of no use to someone who needs a good week of it.”  ~Idries Shah

We may need more than a week of enlightenment, yet in our modern cultures all we get are bite-sized Youtube-compatible fleeting moments. The prevailing mood of our times is one where the ‘spirit’ is like the radio-friendly three-minute pop song. It is a digestible burst that we can chew on without it giving us indigestion. We have literally thousands of online videos showing us how to improve almost every aspect of our lives by breathing, body postures, mental exercises, visualizations, and the good old self-to-mirror pep talks. We are told that we ‘create our own reality,’ despite the obvious fact that in many countries we have accepted sociopaths in power – or perhaps we voted them into office? If that is our reality, then what does it say about ourselves – that most of us are latent sociopaths with a hidden agenda for inflicting suffering upon others? If this is creating our own reality, then most of us must also be secretly longing for therapy.

It seems that the sublime has become lost or distorted within the grotesque spectacle of the spirit. That is, aspects of our soul nature have become commoditized and watered down so that they are shards or filaments of their real glory. And modern cultures worship these shards as if the fleeting reflections that fall from them are profound insights. Totems once considered sacred are splashed across social media and shared as if spreading them brings us amplified gratification. Phrases of some truth are gobbled rapidly as we scroll down the various quote-images that fill our media feeds. We breakfast on these handy spirit pop-tarts; yet we hardly have time to consume their words of wisdom. We yearn only for the quick fix, the morning shot of ‘feel good’ wisdom packaged with a pleasing image, be it nirvana, Samadhi, or some surreal bliss. Colourful figures in lotus positions with flowers blossoming from their chakras adorn our virtual walls and our desktops; we have their presence programmed as our screen images. Transcendence comes through the third eye as it sits in the center of the forehead awaiting patiently its activation through social-media triggers. And if the colourful chakras in the lotus position don’t get you, then there are countless videos of cute cats to make you go all fluffy and tingly inside. Whilst serious videos online only receive moderate viewing figures, the ones of cat compilations or a cute cat trying to do yoga will get in excess of ten million hits.

Popular cultures the world over have become saccharine playgrounds where fads and aspartame-coated famous-wannabes parade and trot like peacocks. We are in danger of becoming submerged in the sickly successes of such pop cultures, where the spirit is exposed as a short-cut trip to enlightenment. Of course, there is also ample room for those parodies that make light fun of such pseudo-spirit pretensions. And there are many of these humorous parodies out there in the world too. Thankfully they can make us laugh at the things we take so seriously.

Searching Where The Light Is

You may think that staring into a mirror, growling to yourself and saying, ‘You are a lion, rarrh!’ is sort of weird, in a surreal, onanistic sort of way. But we’ve been told to do it, or something similar, in a myriad of books on how to develop the spiritual self. We’ve also been urged to call out to the universe and order what we want to arrive in our lives, naming it as ‘cosmic ordering’ (with Amazon-style delivery). It’s all part of the new quantum reality we live in, or so we are told by ‘experts’ in the quantum field (which is more often people who have taught themselves Life Coaching from an online course). And yet here there is the question of what I term the ‘Quantum Dilemma’ – the understanding that our reality is energy-based and responsive to observation (the observer effect) should have torn down our walls of reality-construction. And yet instead what we got were new-agey fluff ball books on the likes of ‘quantum-ordering’ and how to ask the cosmos for our own riches and fantasized lifestyles. We know there is something strange going on over there in the dark (dark energy, dark matter) but we don’t truly wish to look for it as it’s easier to stay in the mainstream light. There’s a story on this from the incomparable Mulla Nasrudin, and it goes like this:

“Someone saw Nasrudin searching for something on the ground.

‘What have you lost, Mulla?’ he asked.

‘My key,’ said the Mulla. So they both went down on their knees and looked for it.

After a time the other man asked: ‘Where exactly did you drop it?’

‘In my own house.’

‘Then why are you looking here?’

‘There is more light here than inside my own house.’1

Inside of our own house is often where we choose not to look. It is too dark, and the discoveries, should they come, are bound to be too close to home – quite literally! Perhaps it would help us if we adorned the house a little. Maybe a talisman here, a crystal there, or any other number of paid-for objects and trinkets that have been imported from elsewhere and now peddled in western markets and online stores.

What is less well-known is the concept that spiritual practices that were once legitimate can lose their functionality if they are taken out of their original context of time and place. Then, even worse, is when such precise tools are used in a haphazard way, such as combining different elements into a new and modern groovy pop-spirit assemblage. When symbols of ‘higher learning’ become atrophied – meaning they are no longer adapted to the culture, the time, and the people – they often incite a ‘Pavlovian’ dog response on the part of the practitioners. Pop spirit emblems, symbols, and trinkets are easily transferred into fetish totems; such as the religion of Rastafari came to be symbolized by the trendy poster of Bob Marley smoking a fat reefa that was sticky-taped onto tens of thousands of student’s bedsit walls. The two things are just not the same: emotional totems do not constitute the real thing. Popular spirituality – today’s pop spirit – has become its own marketplace in the modern world. An old saying comes to mind here – The bird which knows not of sweet water has his beak in salt water all the year.

The pop spirit marketplace is hot – it offers exorbitant choice in the belief that more is good. This encourages some people to take, experiment, taste, and dabble with a rag-bag bunch of spiritual goodies in the hope that the resulting fusion will develop their ‘essential self.’ Whilst there are sincere and genuine developmental tools and practices in the world, the online social media-sphere becomes the window-displays for attractive quotations, phrases, and slogans that are hungrily consumed by a fast-paced crowd. It is easier to ‘like’ and ‘share’ a spiritual tool these days than to consider its use. Pop spirit, like breakfast pop tarts, are tastily consumable, although high in sugary fats. The modern media marketplace delivers an easy ‘on-demand’ lifestyle which is making us lazy and complacent in that we are used to receiving what we request; and either immediately or within 24-hours. Pop spirit fits nicely onto this conveyor belt of spiritual-supply goodies. There are plentiful videos of some young, attractive person telling us how to reach inside for that ‘something higher’ as they have a clean beach and rolling waves in the background. The commodity spirit tells us that having one hundred thousand subscribers is a good sign of the health of the soul. Spreading the Holy Spirit these days gets rated by rising subscribers and on how many people click the thumbs up.

The contemporary world of pop spirit is mainly a material one as it is based in terms of transaction. That is, those involved usually want to get something in exchange for something else. It’s a trade-off, and a commercial one at that. It is a form of seeking that has yet to learn the fundamentals. There is a story which tells of a spiritual seeker who after some time comes upon a spiritual master that she feels is genuine and whom she wishes to learn from. The seeker asks the master if he will accept her as a pupil.

“Why do you seek a spiritual path?’ asks the teacher.

‘Because I wish to be a generous and virtuous person; I wish to be balanced, mindful, caring, and to be in service for humanity. This is my goal’ said the seeker.

‘Well’, replied the teacher, ‘these are not goals on the spiritual path; these are the very basics of being human which we need before we even begin to learn’.

Pop spirit may make us feel better as we scroll down the feel-good quotes over breakfast – but will it last until lunch time? Our daily fix of uplifting quotes and video blessings may not be an antidote to the missing essentials. Contemporary societies with their surface acquisitions and quick-fix remedies may only be glossing over a very real emptiness.

The resurrection of novel, intriguing, and peripheral ideologies and trends in the online world has brought about a new celebration of ‘consumer curiosities’ that range from acquired happiness, sexual fetishes, to extra-terrestrials. With previous restraints of access now thawed out we are seeing a reappearance of these various spectacles that are being celebrated in whatever form online surfers desire. And desire, it seems, is highly sought after.

The Simulation Of Desire

There is no doubt that modern life, and its institutions, attempt to seduce us. We are breaking down as well as digitizing our boundaries of longing. Modern cultural landscapes and digital realms are de-territorializing the reach of the voyeur. There is now a shift in how desires are being redirected into new stimulated sensibilities and customized indulgences. We are being drawn into new modes of seduction – a form of ‘always available’ easy access. Seductions no longer tease us with waiting but can be instantaneously ‘streamed’ in the ever-present now. We are entering saturation point of the sexually explicit – online pornography raises its head as the new ‘desire of despair’ at the same time as children are being groomed, pedophiles are virtually gathering, and the beast within us licks its hideous lips.

Our modern cultures are more highly sexualized than ever as pornography has gone mainstream. Our advertising allures us with sexual imagery, references, and innuendoes. We are getting turned on from music videos that are filling up with scantily clad and booty-shaking extras that gyrate to the groove. Porn stars are making cameos in music videos and porn scenes are pantomimed and mimicked across the wide cultural scene. Fitness clubs offer pole-dancing and strip classes, and porn star memoirs are sold by top publishers and given table space in the big corporate bookshops. The once-peripheral world of pornography has now fused with the commercial mainstream. The moral bankruptcy of porn now shapes much of our western popular culture. Sex has always been big business. Sex sells better than bearded gurus and pop spirit combined. And many people see sex as a ticket to fame.

Sex tapes are famously ‘leaked’ online in a new twisted route to celebrity cultdom. These private performances are ‘accidentally’ made public in a bid for publicity and fame that represents a new and odd kind of fetishism, soaked in libidinal online viral flows. The simulation of desire is central to the digital realms, where arousal, demand, and creation co-exist. Almost any desires can be downloaded for instant gratification and viewer deflowering. Online pornography is a form of virus that absorbs endless amounts of libidinal energy that greases the cogs of digitized desire. These desires are soon to be projected into ‘false bodies’ as the robot sex toy becomes the next must-have gadget. Soon, Barbie will seem, well – quite timid. A recent report from futurologist Dr. Ian Pearson predicts that:

  • By 2030, most people will have some form of virtual sex as casually as they browse porn today.
  • By 2035 the majority of people will own sex toys that interact with virtual reality sex.
  • We will start to see some forms of robot sex appearing in high-income, very wealthy households as soon as 2025.
  • We will start to see robot sex overtaking human-human in 2050.2

Suddenly those closet-hidden doll inflatables will look like relics from the past. The experience of desire will soon be mediatized in a totally new way, with virtual reality and robot sex becoming a new and crowded playground. Yet this new experience is also likely to lead to an over-abundance of quick desire that may ultimately leave us unfulfilled – possibly leading to not sexual repression but rather a form of sexual depression. An over-plentiful supply of substitute sex may create a real wound of longing that a hyperreal world will be incapable, and unqualified, to cater for.

The spirit that dwells within us, that makes us a soulful species, is far away from the popular spirituality that invades our news feeds and social media. It is not a collection of colourful pixels or groovy 10-minute videos. I’m positive about the great future awaiting us, yet getting there entails moving beyond the immaturity of our commoditized desires.

Downgrading Of Hu-Manity

“At a certain point the spiritual seeker always hits a certain stumbling block. Some insidious external force is relentlessly opposing spiritual progress. Traditionally it was blamed on ill-defined, malevolent beings like demons and devils. Almost all mystics have encountered them. These beings are real, and people in the past knew they existed, but did not understand who they were. We have finally gained a greater understanding of who those malevolent beings are and how they operate. They are a certain group of alien beings who have been present on this planet for a long time, and who are very good at opposing our spiritual progress.” ~Don Juan Mateus

Uncomfortable Information

All of us with spiritual inclination, understanding and experience will have met the predator. The dark dreams – the primal, gut twisting spiritual terror that renders us helpless… like a frightened frozen rabbit hypnotized by headlights.

And, when we try to search for the source of our unease, we find nothing but shifting sand between our spiritual fingers.

Yet, the imprint of a terrifying encounter with ‘something’ is embedded in our psyche – a memory of the horror that long ago, destroyed our innocence; imprisoned us in a sacrificial world, and confined a spiritual being to a fleshy, rotting suit of squirming appetites.

Cognitive Dissonance

Lots of people instantly switch off – become cognizantly dissonant when we try to talk about esoteric matters. They can’t deal with anything that does not conform with the thinking of the status quo hive mind. But it is what it is…we cannot change their minds and neither should we try.

Understand… that most of you reading this blog dance to the beat of a different drummer – whether you know it or not

On our spiritual journey to wholeness we often encounter information that is contrary to our programming. We often dismiss it because it makes us feel uncomfortable – but that does not mean it is not relevant in spiritual understanding….. especially for those amongst us who wish for a brighter, more compassionate reality.

So, let’s step out of hive mind programming. Take a walk on the wild side of ‘what if’ and contemplate our spiritual fear from a different perspective.

Words Of Aboriginal Wisdom

In the video with this article, Credo Mutwa the Zulu shaman and oral historian tells of a time when there was no moon and women did not menstruate. Credo talks of the coming of the Chitauri – the predator. Don Juan’s ‘flyers’ and the Jinn of Islamic understanding.

Credo says his people were rounded up by the Chitauri and taken to caves. When they finally emerged from the darkness, they had sexual organs…  some male – some female.  We read in the scriptures: ‘Male and female he created them.’ Gen5 v2.

What are we to make of this?

Did a Divine Being that walked with Source Creator Gen1 v29… somehow get captured by a demon and genetically modified…closed down for an off planet agenda? Maybe even a food source. After all, in a reality of ‘ as above so below’, we have our inhumane cattle farms… don’t we?  So, I think…boomerang wise, it is a real possibility….

The Counterfeit

The enemy of life cannot create it can only copy, and to achieve control of our thinking it acts as a chameleon constantly whispering all things to all men…holding the carrot of whatever we desire spiritually and physically right before our eyes. It has us figured out because it created us. It knows how we operate and the scope of the limited band of frequencies that it gave us – just 10% of our original capability as multi-dimensional beings.

So the managers of the farm have all the bases that control us covered: sex, food and entertainment – they clog our minds with trivia, tittivate our weaknesses, distract us with the game of ‘me versus you’ and ’us versus them’, while in the background they seek to undermine and destroy us. Oppose our spiritual progress….

Justice

If there is one thing to applaud in this horrible mess we call life, it is Metaphysical Law.

Lucifer is not omnipotent. He is a servant of the Laws he created for this construct. That is why the elite wear certain colours on different days of the week. Consult astrologers – hold blood sacrifices on auspicious days to keep themselves in power. The Law of Cause and Effect is the reason they have to tell us what’s in-store for us – they don’t want the havoc they are going to create to karmically come back through the mirror and slap them in the face. Hollywood is their medium of information. We call it fiction when really it’s fact.

You see, the elite are bound by the Metaphysical Laws that govern the construct. The only difference between the rulers and the people is: they’ know the Laws and we do not. Cosmic knowledge is withheld from us – but even though the scumbags have tried to erase and destroy metaphysical knowledge – in a Duality it has to remain accessible to the seeker.

So, let’s take a look at the past and see what information, we can glean.

The Ancient World

A quote from my article Pandora’s Box:

“We read in mythology about Agdistis, the hermaphrodite mother/father being of Oneness that Zeus/Lucifer castrated. By chopping off her male member, Lucifer instantly divided Agdistis into two separate parts. One became split into two and the third dimension of Duality was born. This cosmic act of violence against a divine being is honoured in the sexual mutilation cult of Cybele, and the satanic ceremonies of rape, sodomy and blood sacrifice practiced by the Luciferian ‘illuminated’ covens that are so prevalent today.”

The Timeless Truth

From the ancient world we move into modern times. The intuitive brilliance of scientific researchers like Carl Sagan, has allowed us to put together the missing pieces in the jigsaw of our past. In his book, The Dragons of Eden, Sagan writes about many strange anomalies in our genetic code. One of which is the genetic modification of the female pelvis to allow for birthing babies with larger heads.

In the scriptures we read “and god cursed Eve with painful childbirth.”

“In order to keep us obedient, meek and weak, the predators engaged themselves in a stupendous maneuver- stupendous, of course, from the point of view of a fighting strategist; a horrendous maneuver from the point of view of those who suffer it. They gave us their mind! Do you hear me? The predators give us their mind which becomes our mind. The predators’ mind is baroque, contradictory, morose, and filled with the fear of being discovered any minute now…” ~Don Juan Mateus

The increase in the size of the human cranium may well have come into being with the addition of the R/Complex…the reptile mind of ‘me first’ that is needed to survive in this fabricated dimension of constant conflict. The owners of this construct would need to ensure that most of its creation survived in its virtual and sacrificial dog eat dog world – hence our programmed ‘instinctual survival reactions’ and the drive to constantly replicate in world of emotionally charged energy.

Is it possible that we have been trapped in a separate reality – a small sliver of energy called visible light? Did we suffer a genetic downgrade? Were we hijacked from our high estate and forced to fall from multi-dimensional beings to chemically induced animals, poor controlled creatures that constantly breed and fight for alpha male status called the pecking order of life.

The Next Downgrade – Homo Borgiensis

Under the guise of convenience and progress, we as a species are slowly being led away from our mystical and spiritual connection with Source Creation. We are being engineered into a ‘smart’ world of electromagnetic pollution, self-aware machines, D wave quantum computers and the sky net electromagnetic grid. The Luciferian elite are trying to alter, modify and manipulate the human genome to usher in full spectrum dominance of the human mind, and with it – a new dark age of slavery and control.

Digital reality means the loss of spiritual reality and with the micro chip the borg is born.

Well, it’s happening right before our eyes and lives.

It’s Happening

The New York Times reported on Nov. 26th, 2018 that a Chinese scientist had claimed to have made the first genetically modified babies using a powerful gene editing technology called Crispr. The claim that China had already made genetically altered humans came just as the world’s leading experts were jetting into Hong Kong for the Second International Summit on Human Genome Editing.

You can bet your bottom dollar that gene editing has been going on in secret for a long time and there are genetically enhanced ‘people’ living alongside us today. Although this technology will be presented as a miracle cure for inherited disease: sickle-cell anemia – downs syndrome – cystic fibrosis and many others, it has a very dark side.

The dark side of this gene editing technology is that a super race can be created. The master race – the eugenicists dream of Aryan purity.  I think this is the agenda of the predator – the ‘off planet’  toxic genetic code that has always been a problem on this earth.

In a Duality there is always an opposition to evil and we must be careful that we do not get drawn into the game. There is only the One Life…a life that transcends the Separation that was forced upon us. So let’s honour it.

Where Do We Go From Here?

Ephesians 6:12-13 “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in high places. Therefore take up the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day.”

Where There is No Hurt There is No Sin

What does the full armour of God mean? It is the understanding that there is only One Life and everything partakes of it. Therefore to deliberately harm another living being whether animal, bird or reptile is to bring retribution and suffering upon self. Everything we do from this moment on is down to us….

In the words of the wise: “I build a lighted house and therein dwell.”

We are all on a personal journey…mine is to break the matrix programme within myself.

Could Consciousness All Come Down To The Way Things Vibrate?

Published

on

Tam HuntGuest Writer

Why is my awareness here, while yours is over there? Why is the universe split in two for each of us, into a subject and an infinity of objects? How is each of us our own center of experience, receiving information about the rest of the world out there? Why are some things conscious and others apparently not? Is a rat conscious? A gnat? A bacterium?

These questions are all aspects of the ancient “mind-body problem,” which asks, essentially: What is the relationship between mind and matter? It’s resisted a generally satisfying conclusion for thousands of years.

The mind-body problem enjoyed a major rebranding over the last two decades. Now it’s generally known as the “hard problem” of consciousness, after philosopher David Chalmers coined this term in a now classic paper and further explored it in his 1996 book, “The Conscious Mind: In Search of a Fundamental Theory.”

Chalmers thought the mind-body problem should be called “hard” in comparison to what, with tongue in cheek, he called the “easy” problems of neuroscience: How do neurons and the brain work at the physical level? Of course they’re not actually easy at all. But his point was that they’re relatively easy compared to the truly difficult problem of explaining how consciousness relates to matter.

Over the last decade, my colleague, University of California, Santa Barbara psychology professor Jonathan Schooler and I have developed what we call a “resonance theory of consciousness.” We suggest that resonance – another word for synchronized vibrations – is at the heart of not only human consciousness but also animal consciousness and of physical reality more generally. It sounds like something the hippies might have dreamed up – it’s all vibrations, man! – but stick with me.

All About The Vibrations

All things in our universe are constantly in motion, vibrating. Even objects that appear to be stationary are in fact vibrating, oscillating, resonating, at various frequencies. Resonance is a type of motion, characterized by oscillation between two states. And ultimately all matter is just vibrations of various underlying fields. As such, at every scale, all of nature vibrates.

Something interesting happens when different vibrating things come together: They will often start, after a little while, to vibrate together at the same frequency. They “sync up,” sometimes in ways that can seem mysterious. This is described as the phenomenon of spontaneous self-organization.

Mathematician Steven Strogatz provides various examples from physics, biology, chemistry and neuroscience to illustrate “sync” – his term for resonance – in his 2003 book “Sync: How Order Emerges from Chaos in the Universe, Nature, and Daily Life,” including:

  • When fireflies of certain species come together in large gatherings, they start flashing in sync, in ways that can still seem a little mystifying.
  • Lasers are produced when photons of the same power and frequency sync up.
  • The moon’s rotation is exactly synced with its orbit around the Earth such that we always see the same face.

Examining resonance leads to potentially deep insights about the nature of consciousness and about the universe more generally.

Sync Inside Your Skull

Neuroscientists have identified sync in their research, too. Large-scale neuron firing occurs in human brains at measurable frequencies, with mammalian consciousness thought to be commonly associated with various kinds of neuronal sync.

For example, German neurophysiologist Pascal Fries has explored the ways in which various electrical patterns sync in the brain to produce different types of human consciousness.

Fries focuses on gamma, beta and theta waves. These labels refer to the speed of electrical oscillations in the brain, measured by electrodes placed on the outside of the skull. Groups of neurons produce these oscillations as they use electrochemical impulses to communicate with each other. It’s the speed and voltage of these signals that, when averaged, produce EEG waves that can be measured at signature cycles per second.

Gamma waves are associated with large-scale coordinated activities like perception, meditation or focused consciousness; beta with maximum brain activity or arousal; and theta with relaxation or daydreaming. These three wave types work together to produce, or at least facilitate, various types of human consciousness, according to Fries. But the exact relationship between electrical brain waves and consciousness is still very much up for debate.

Fries calls his concept “communication through coherence.” For him, it’s all about neuronal synchronization. Synchronization, in terms of shared electrical oscillation rates, allows for smooth communication between neurons and groups of neurons. Without this kind of synchronized coherence, inputs arrive at random phases of the neuron excitability cycle and are ineffective, or at least much less effective, in communication.

A Resonance Theory Of Consciousness

Our resonance theory builds upon the work of Fries and many others, with a broader approach that can help to explain not only human and mammalian consciousness, but also consciousness more broadly.

Based on the observed behavior of the entities that surround us, from electrons to atoms to molecules, to bacteria to mice, bats, rats, and on, we suggest that all things may be viewed as at least a little conscious. This sounds strange at first blush, but “panpsychism” – the view that all matter has some associated consciousness – is an increasingly accepted position with respect to the nature of consciousness.

The panpsychist argues that consciousness did not emerge at some point during evolution. Rather, it’s always associated with matter and vice versa – they’re two sides of the same coin. But the large majority of the mind associated with the various types of matter in our universe is extremely rudimentary. An electron or an atom, for example, enjoys just a tiny amount of consciousness. But as matter becomes more interconnected and rich, so does the mind, and vice versa, according to this way of thinking.

Biological organisms can quickly exchange information through various biophysical pathways, both electrical and electrochemical. Non-biological structures can only exchange information internally using heat/thermal pathways – much slower and far less rich in information in comparison. Living things leverage their speedier information flows into larger-scale consciousness than what would occur in similar-size things like boulders or piles of sand, for example. There’s much greater internal connection and thus far more “going on” in biological structures than in a boulder or a pile of sand.

Under our approach, boulders and piles of sand are “mere aggregates,” just collections of highly rudimentary conscious entities at the atomic or molecular level only. That’s in contrast to what happens in biological life forms where the combinations of these micro-conscious entities together create a higher level macro-conscious entity. For us, this combination process is the hallmark of biological life.

The central thesis of our approach is this: the particular linkages that allow for large-scale consciousness – like those humans and other mammals enjoy – result from a shared resonance among many smaller constituents. The speed of the resonant waves that are present is the limiting factor that determines the size of each conscious entity in each moment.

As a particular shared resonance expands to more and more constituents, the new conscious entity that results from this resonance and combination grows larger and more complex. So the shared resonance in a human brain that achieves gamma synchrony, for example, includes a far larger number of neurons and neuronal connections than is the case for beta or theta rhythms alone.

What about larger inter-organism resonance like the cloud of fireflies with their little lights flashing in sync? Researchers think their bioluminescent resonance arises due to internal biological oscillators that automatically result in each firefly syncing up with its neighbours.

Is this group of fireflies enjoying a higher level of group consciousness? Probably not, since we can explain the phenomenon without recourse to any intelligence or consciousness. But in biological structures with the right kind of information pathways and processing power, these tendencies toward self-organization can and often do produce larger-scale conscious entities.

Our resonance theory of consciousness attempts to provide a unified framework that includes neuroscience, as well as more fundamental questions of neurobiology and biophysics, and also the philosophy of mind. It gets to the heart of the differences that matter when it comes to consciousness and the evolution of physical systems.

It is all about vibrations, but it’s also about the type of vibrations and, most importantly, about shared vibrations.

Matrix Deprogramming And The Prohibition Of Nature’s Red Pill

“Remember. All I’m offering is the truth. Nothing Else.” – Morpheus, The Matrix

Are we merely sentient programs, bound from birth to death to the directives of our masters and the chains of the Matrix? Or are we multi-dimensional beings, continuously striving for deeper and deeper connection to spirit, whether conscious or not of this automatic effort? What tools have we been given to find the answers to these questions, and why are they prohibited?

Medicine For The Matrix

Full-spectrum dominance of our well-being is carried out by the joint efforts of government, corporations, social engineering programs, consumer training through marketing and peer pressure, the modern medical establishment, and the entertainment industrial complex.

The definition of ‘medicine’ has been co-opted in recent decades by the pharmaceutical paradigm which seeks to find only symptoms then sell us temporary masks for those symptoms… for insane profit. For the entirety of human history up to the present, medicine has been an integral part of human life, as important as air, food and water, and the purpose of healing has always been to drill straight down to the root of an issue and resolve it completely, once and for all.

A singular part of what has popularly become known as ‘the Matrix,’ the corporate/medical establishment has become the chief prison warden of the mind, body and spirit, whose role it is to incarcerate us in a state of degraded physical, mental, and spiritual health. This is the slave master that keeps us in line when the symptoms of stress, anxiety, depression, sickness and despair, the results of our enslavement to the Matrix, become so overwhelming that we seek external help for survival.

For centuries, millennia even, human kind has depended on medicine in it’s natural, not chemical forms, and now a total shift towards dependence on prescription based medicine has re-trained us to shun the very cures which have the most potential to liberate us into health and happiness. There is no doubt that those self-tasked with permitting which remedies are available in our society have a vested interest in keeping us locked into this paradigm, for, a person who has knowledge of self and access to the medicines which most properly serve and honour our individuality is inescapably free.

“You’re a ghost, driving a meat skeleton made of stardust on a rock hurtling through space.” -Unknown

Human beings have two inherent identities. Most familiar to us is the visceral human form that binds us to the material world in flesh and bone, acting as transport for mind and spirit in our journey from birth to death. The higher self, our soul, is the part of us which exists infinitely as cosmic consciousness, fuelled by love, knowing everything at once and for all, existing in total freedom from the constraints of time and space.

“We, as humans, live simultaneously in 2 worlds. I will refer to these 2 worlds as the physical world and the spirit world. These 2 worlds exist simultaneously and both worlds are wrapped around and through the other. To understand Life, one must know what is happening in both worlds.

We are all very familiar with this physical world. We are aware of it through our 5 physical senses: sight, sound, touch, taste and smell. Everything we perceive through these senses tells us about the nature of physical world.

But we also have senses that allow us to know the nature of the spirit world such as intuition and spiritual vision seen through the ‘third eye.’ Generally speaking, most people don’t understand these senses or how to use them to understand what is happening in the spirit world. In most cultures outside of central Africa, most people have forgotten how to use these senses. As a result, the senses of the physical world become dominant and only under unusual conditions are these spiritual senses realized.” – Gary Cook, Iboga Wellness

The Matrix has as its primary objective the task of disconnecting us from the soul and the extreme aggrandizement of the material, so that we may be used as batteries and as automatons to fuel the lavish existences of our controllers. It achieves this through desensitization by overexposure to violence, hatred, fear, pollution and scarcity, while limiting deep connection to each other, to nature, and to the most humane experiences.

Acts of terror are amplified, echoed and repeated in the mainstream media, while the achievements of love and compassion are minimized, ridiculed and diminished in their meaning and significance.

We are prevented from realizing the depths of our enslavement by the limits placed on our spiritual discovery, rarely if ever able to even glimpse at the totality of the damage that has been inflicted upon the psyche by the continual bombardment of fear, conflict, war and nihilism. Our shock is weapon zed and used against us, and we find little, if any, solace, in the corrupt and tired religious traditions of the modern world.

Pharmaceuticals, by design, dull the emotional being and narrow the range of human feeling. Alcohol is recommended and pimped in our culture to further numb the senses and amplify negativity. Food is denatured, devoid of nutrition, and poisoned to weaken the body and darkly color the mind.

As shining examples of success, those that do the most damage to the natural environment are held in great esteem as pioneers of capitalism, teaching us the false value of trading life for profit and encouraging disrespect for that which sustains us.

Our communities and infrastructure have been engineered to discourage human interaction because without an abundance of human contact we are unable to fully grasp the true state of the human condition: despair. We only take notice of the outer appearances of our brothers and sisters, their consumer adornments and their extrinsic, soulless possessions, thus we predictably over-appreciate material accomplishments.

The rich human history of relation to spirit, and the triumphs of the heart are continuously erased and supplanted with memories of conquest and destruction, the worst of all human endeavours. All of this horror is pumped into the psyche without reprieve, deepening the abyss of our condition.

The Real ‘Red Pill’

“Unfortunately no one can be told what the Matrix is. You have to see it for yourself.” -Morpheus, The Matrix

There is a genuine ‘Red Pill‘ that reveals, confronts and combats the tyranny of the matrix and each of its attempts to debilitate the mind, body and spirit. It is called iboga, and it is prohibited by law in most western nations.

For perhaps thousands of years, the root bark of the rather unassuming jungle shrub, tabernanthe iboga has been consumed by indigenous rainforest cultures of ecuatorial Africa as a medicine and teacher for life. It’s usage is not complicated, however, it’s effect on the human being is simply indescribable with language, something that can only be understood through direct experience.

Under the guidance of a proper shaman, the bark from the plant’s roots is scraped, collected and ingested…

“…opening up an introspective experience where a connection is made with an over-soul or cosmic consciousness that assists the mind in a deep examination of the self from an objective, omniscient and timeless perspective. In this, a process of self-revelation unfolds which unravels one’s past, offering life-changing insights and liberation from accumulated self-judgments and harmful thought patterns.

For 12-24 hours the patient lies still, with blindfolded eyes, in a bizarre dream-like state where the brain behaves as if in REM sleep, but, while the conscious mind remains awake, very alert and able to interact with and direct the content of the mental journey.

As the experience deepens, the barrier between the conscious and sub-conscious mind seems to dissolve, and the information in the sub-conscience becomes available for review and rejection by the reflective self. In this, a lifetime’s worth of learned mental processes, memories, emotional impressions, false judgments and psychological conditioning that combine to inform and instruct the self are presented to the patient in rapid fire fashion… a sort of high velocity behind-the-scenes tour of one’s personality. A multi-dimensional impression of one’s character emerges, and they are given an incredible opportunity to re-assess or reject misunderstood feelings, traumatic events, implanted suggestions, negative self-images, and habitual behaviors.” -Dylan Charles, Opiates, Iboga and the Roots of Self-Destruction

Full-Specturm Matrix Deprogramming

The type of multi-dimensional self-revelation and curative introspection brought forth by a spiritual journey of this magnitude has three fundamental properties: physical healing, spiritual healing and spiritual discovery.

Attacking at once every pillar of the Matrix, revealing in vivid, high-definition clarity its various strangleholds on the sub-conscious, it is common for westerners to experience their first journey as a heavy, full-spectrum examination of the most warped and damning contents that infect the mind and spirit.

Fear is a weapon of mass destruction, one that we are encouraged to feel, but discouraged to confront. Iboga cuts right through our reluctance to stare into this abyss, presenting the initiate with a visceral opportunity to dive into the harsh truth that we carry buried with us in our daily lives. Through an intoxicating spiritual trance, iboga can behave as a semi-automatic, virtual-reality, worse-case-scenario generator of sorts, allowing us to finally see just how disturbed and jaded we’ve become and how thoroughly we are able to cover and conceal our darkness. All the horrors the haunt us from behind the veil of consciousness are finally brought into the light.

Renowned for its ability to cleanse and decalcify the pineal, opening wide the third eye, iboga reaches out to us in crystal clear inner vision, allowing us to see with intense clarity the events, memories and repressed suggestions, that subjugate our goodness and harden the heart.

Highly respected as well for its effective and hasty treatment of PTSD, iboga unlocks the cages within the mind that limit our capacity to see beyond the terrors of being human in these troubling times. Trauma, such as the kind suffered in violence and sexual abuse, is exposed, then rendered powerless in the process of bearing full witness.

Revered for its ability to interrupt addiction to drugs, self-destructive behaviours and toxic thought processes, the medicine offers desperate liberation for those stuck in perpetual conflict with themselves. The highly alkaline shamanic medicine also performs a complete physical and mental detox, leaving in its wake lightness and ease in the body, along with intense mental clarity and focus.

Leading Us Home

As an entheogenic plant medicine that permits direct contact and consultation with an ancient earthly and unmistakably benevolent spirit, once the heaviness of our contemporary existence is uncovered and diffused, to complete the journey, iboga reveals its true nature of loving intention to the participant. First expanding the lower, darker ranges of our human experience, it springs us from the traps which bind and hold us back, with the aim of freeing us into the stunning totality of our highest selves.

To do so, it takes us soaring into the vast and limitless cosmos of the self to find, hold council with, seek guidance and forgiveness from, and re-connect with our very own individual soul, as well as the souls of our ancestors, so that we may recapture our personal history, and experience the unconditional love that is the true foundation of being human.

The end result is liberation and enduring happiness.

Home

It is precisely due to this genuinely holistic capacity to heal and enlighten that our rat-race, driven-from-the-top culture has shunned, persecuted and even outlawed the usage of iboga: for the matrix cannot and will not permit freedom of this depth and significance.

The matrix simply cannot have a world full of free-spirited, happy souls, for it is impossible to enslave someone who lives with certainty of their own power and purpose, liberated from fear and loving of the self.

There’s something fundamentally wrong with how the world is right now. Don’t you see it – feel it? We are a species with noble character, with a great spirit, and with a sacred soul. In our hearts we wish only for the betterment of all people; for love and justice and communion. And yet what we see going on in the world is nothing less than complete madness. We have to say it exactly as it is – there is a sickness going on and this pathogen is being perpetrated on a vast scale.

I propose the possibility for the existence of some kind of infection/invasion/contagion that produces a form of mental ‘madness’ that is so normalized within us that we hardly recognize its presence. That is, this ‘presence’ has embedded itself into our various forms of social conditioning (or perhaps even produces this conditioning) in order to veil its existence. This normalized madness then usurps genuine thinking patterns, with the result that when everyone shares the collective psychosis then the madness of the world appears to be a ‘normal feature’ of human civilization. And those people who are ‘awake’ to the genuine human spirit and mind are considered the crazies – the anomalies – as the following tale shows:

“There was once a wise and powerful king who ruled in a remote city of a far kingdom. And the king was feared for both his might and his love of wisdom. At the heart of the city was a well whose water was cool and crystalline, and all the inhabitants drank from this well, even the king and his courtiers, because there was no other well in the city. One night, while everyone was asleep, a witch entered the city and poured seven drops of a strange liquid into the well, and said:

‘From now on, anyone who drinks this water will go crazy.’

The next morning all the inhabitants drank the water from the well, except the king and his lord chamberlain, and very soon everyone went mad, as the witch had foretold. During that day, all people went through the narrow streets and public places whispering to each other:

‘The king is mad. Our king and his lord chamberlain have lost their reason. Naturally, we cannot be ruled by a mad king. We must dethrone him!’

That night, the king ordered a golden cup of water from the well to be brought to him. And when they brought the cup the king and his lord chamberlain drank heavily from it. Soon after that there was great rejoicing in that distant city of a far kingdom because the king and his lord chamberlain had regained their reason.”

The King and his love of wisdom (Genuine Mind) was corrupted by the poisonous drops of the witch’s liquid (virus/pathogen) that resulted in the mass epidemic of craziness (psychosis/Wounded Mind). This corrupted mind then became the dominant narrative that influenced social behavior. This Wounded Mind is like a contagion that infects.

Our collective ‘cultural mind’ is continually being shaped by dominant social-cultural narratives that normalize our mental and emotional behavioral patterns. These norms are then transferred into cultural myths that serve to transmit and reinforce these mass-minded belief systems. We end up validating our own corrupted thinking through unconscious affirmations. Once this seed of psychosis is planted then it aims to propagate and strengthen through diversions and manifestations that legitimate its own ‘logical’ existence. Like a mental cancer it ingratiates itself into our own neural pathways as an insider rather than an outsider so that we fail to notice its toxic presence. Yet there remains a niggling sense of something being ‘not-quite-right’ deep within any sensible/sensitive person.

This strange reality of ours becomes internalized so that we adapt to a form of ‘normality’ and anyone who speaks up or questions this ‘paradigm of normality’ is considered either odd, eccentric or, at worst, crazy. A more recent category for such people is now to be designated as a ‘conspiracy theorist’ which is a quick brush to dismiss people with ideas or thinking contrary to this ‘norm.’ And those people who appear to accept and encourage such norms are quickly brought ‘into the fold’ and supported in their career paths. The majority of those manifesting the Wounded Mind are not in psychiatric care but running most of our social, political, and financial institutions. Positions of great power necessitate their own specific mindset, one that is generally provided by the corrupted mind.

A Disturbance Of Mind

The presence of the Wounded Mind is like a sickness of the soul, and it manifests as a disturbance in the collective unconscious. Just like any other virus or pathogen, it seeks to spread itself by infecting as many carriers as possible. Those people who carry the Wounded Mind (whether knowingly or not) act as transmitters and amplifiers for it, strengthening its frequency within the collective nonlocal field of consciousness. A collective possession is what we refer to as a psychic epidemic, or a disturbance in the field. Such disturbances can have varying affects upon people’s mental health and well-being.

People who suffer from a Wounded Mind may carry it as an ‘undefinable’ trauma within them, and it is common to turn to alcoholism or drug dependencies as a way of coping (or of escape). When a person feels stressed or traumatized they are like an open wound for further mental invasion. And it can be quite subtle at first as our modern societies have devised endless ways for our interference. We are distracted to look away from our own minds and thus miss the psycho-pathogen in action. As a person further integrates the Wounded Mind they may find themselves vulnerable to victimization; such as through social harassment and bullying (especially online nowadays), or as addicted-consumers of sexual deviancy, pornography, and socially-sanctioned extreme experiences. The monk Thomas Merton said that our modern societies suffer from a crisis of sanity:

“‘The problems of the nations are the problems of mentally deranged people, but magnified a thousand times because they have the full-straight-faced approbation of a schizoid society, schizoid national structures, schizoid military and business complexes.”

If all modern institutions are infected by a corrupted system of mental thinking patterns then, as Merton suggests, this instability will be amplified and made worse. Individual neuroses are given institutional sanction and support within a culture that has based its social norms upon such irrationalities. The irrational has broken through and implanted itself as the rational standard rule. It is perhaps little wonder that people can be so susceptible to this mental pathogen when it comes to us dressed up in sheep’s clothing. As is always the case, those people most vulnerable are usually those who are conditioned to authority and/or passivity. This trait, unfortunately, is one that is first implanted through compulsory schooling.

Likewise, people who are easily influenced by external opinions, and whom are prone to group-thinking, are amongst the first to give away their mental independence to external sources. The virus of the Wounded Mind preys upon such ‘group-think’ individuals as they are the mass open playing fields for psychic epidemics. The ‘mass mind’ of humanity helps in the transmission and proliferation of the psychic pathogen – the wounded mind. As the famous psychiatrist R.D. Laing once said – ‘The condition of alienation, of being asleep, of being unconscious, of being out of one’s mind, is the condition of the normal man…normal men have killed perhaps 100,000,000 of their fellow normal men in the last fifty years.’2 Conscious awareness is perhaps our greatest antidote.

If we are to see human history from a wider perspective then it is important we view major events, human actions, propaganda, social disturbances, power struggles, and the rest, from this standpoint of the wounded mind. The modern human mind has been formed from many traits that include greed, lust, ambition, materialism, insincerity, and a ‘split’ personality. In all, these are traits that mark a lack of authenticity. The Wounded Mind seeks to develop greater degrees of inauthenticity and lack of empathy within the individual. We can see such personalities walking across the world stage.

The peril of the Wounded Mind is that resistance may also help to spread it. That is, people who often start out resisting and fighting against this corrupted mindset often find themselves adopting it’s values in order to survive. It’s the ‘if you can’t beat them, join them’ type of thinking. And this cliché too is very likely to have been a product of the Wounded Mind intending to verify itself. It may seem that we are struggling to awaken against our very own spell of sleep.

Under The Pathogen Spell

It has often been said – by mystics, sages, and wisdom traditions – that humanity is collectively asleep. Our ignorance over our condition, and the absence of real knowledge, indicates we are asleep.  Similarly, the Gnostics viewed humanity as being ‘asleep’ under a trance – a form of material spell – that has severed us from contact with a genuine divine source. Instead, we are ruled by a false or ‘flawed god,’ a demiurge, that has malevolent intentions to keep us trapped within the material realms.

The more we breed this Wounded Mind within our societies and cultures the more people will behave and live like automatons. We will live within a tighter range of conditioned stimuli that programs specific opinions and thinking patterns that validate the pathogen. A person who is more conditioned to obedience is more susceptible to receive the mental virus. Perhaps this is why our modern societies are establishing rigid orders of control and obedience, such as when we travel, pass through airports, etc. It can be likened to a preparation for automated behavior as a requisite for an automated mind. The mystic George Gurdjieff wrote:

“‘Contemporary culture requires automatons. And people are undoubtedly losing their acquired habits of independence and turning into automatons, into parts of machines…. Man is becoming a willing slave. He no longer needs chains. He begins to grow fond of his slavery, to be proud of it. And this is the most terrible thing that can happen to a man.’3

By adopting the mentality of the Wounded Mind, we participate in our own suppression and further the behavior of an automaton. We need to recognize that many of our incumbent social systems are set-up to corroborate and reinforce the consensus mind-set. Any genuine resistance cannot come from any ‘mass movement’ but only from those persons who can think and act independently.

It is important to recognize that the Wounded Mind is a field phenomenon, and that our own mind and thoughts do not exist securely guarded within our heads. Since we are all interconnected within the non-local field, we are all susceptible to the infection of this predatory virus. The first step we can take is to accept the possibility that the pathogen virus exists. The Gnostic text The Gospel of Philip says: ‘So long as the root of wickedness is hidden, it is strong. But when it is recognized, it is dissolved. When it is revealed, it perishes…’ The danger lies in our distraction.

We must guard against being diverted away from our authenticity and lured into the modern distractions of hedonistic pleasure-seeking, greed and materialism, and the running after shallow satisfactions. After all, this illusive psychosis offers false promises. Our modern cultures appear to want to prevent the majority of people from pursuing their own genuine developmental paths. This is no doubt because our capitalist-consumer based societies require a regular mass of workers and consumers whom live a regulated, predictable, and conformist life.

Yet it is now necessary to see the Wounded Mind for what it is – recognition and acknowledgement is key. If we cannot bring harmony and good sense to the world around us, then we should at least bring it upon ourselves. We are the wounded ones who can become our own wounded healers.
